How to use swimming goggles correctly?
Here are the steps to use goggles properly:
Choose the right size swimming goggles
Choose the right swimming goggles based on your face size and eye size. The frame should fit the face and not leak or slip. The frame can be selected from silicone or plastic, according to personal preference and use of the occasion.
Adjust the straps of your goggles
Loosen the rubber band or silicone band of the frame and place it on your head. Adjust the length of the strap so that it is firmly fixed on the head and will not slip off. The band should not be too tight, or it may compress the head and cause discomfort.
Wear swimming goggles
Hold both sides of the frame with both hands and place the goggles around your eyes. Press the frame gently to make sure it fits perfectly around the eye socket and there are no leaks. You can use your fingers to gently press along the frame to help it fit. Check that swimming goggles are worn correctly. Shake your head slightly to make sure the goggles don’t slip. Try opening your eyes in water to make sure they don’t get water. If a problem is found, the strap can be adjusted appropriately or re-worn.
Maintenance after use
Rinse goggles with clean water after use to avoid dirt or chemical residue. Let dry and store in a dry, cool place. Check the condition of swimming goggles regularly and replace damaged parts in time. Proper use and maintenance of swimming goggles can ensure a comfortable view and protect your eyes while swimming.
